GABRAZ SANNA
Gabraz Sanna is a Brazilian filmmaker whose work straddles the line between direct and experimental cinema, focusing on the dialogue between different artistic languages. His films have been shown at festivals and museums around the world. As a former literature student, he made his first full-length films as portraits of two important Portuguese-language writers: Manoel de Barros and Maria Gabriela Llansol. Sanna has collaborated with artists such as Maria Bethânia, Caetano Veloso, Tantão, Digitaria, Sara Não tem Nome, Felappi Montparnasse and Tindersticks. After RuÃna (2015) and Eu sou o Rio (with Anne Santos, 2017).
