CAMILO RESTREPO
Nascido em 1975, na Colômbia, Restrepo vive e trabalha em Paris desde 1999. Ele é membro do L'Abominable, um laboratório de cinema dirigido por artistas. Restrepo ganhou o prêmio Silver Leopard em Locarno duas vezes por seus filmes Impression of a War (2015) e Cilaos (2016). Seu filme La Bouche (2017) estreou na Quinzaine des Réalisateurs no Festival de Cannes. Seu primeiro longa-metragem, Los Conductos (2020), ganhou o prêmio GWFF de melhor primeiro longa-metragem no Festival de Berlim. Seu último filme, O Quarto das Sombras (2024), foi selecionado para o FID Marseille.
Born in 1975, Colombia, Restrepo has lived and worked in Paris since 1999. He is a member of L’Abominable, an artist-run film laboratory. He won the Silver Leopard prize at Locarno twice for his films Impression of a War (2015) and Cilaos (2016). His film La Bouche (2017) premiered at Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at Festival de Cannes. His debut feature film, Los Conductos (2020), won the GWFF Best First Feature Award at Berlin IFF. His latest film Room of Shadows (2024) was selected to FID Marseille.
