Renan Rovida (1983) é cineasta, ator e roteirista, baseado em São Paulo, SP. Ator conhecido pelo seu trabalho no cinema independente, chamou atenção com seu longa-metragem de estreia Sem Raiz, depois com o média-metragem Pão e Gente e com o longa-metragem Idade da Pedra, vencedor do Prêmio de Melhor Filme na Competitiva Internacional Novos Olhares no Olhar de Cinema Festival Internacional de Curitiba, um dos mais importantes festivais de cinema de autor no Brasil. Também dirigiu os curtas-metragens Coice no Peito e Entre Nós, Dinheiro. Seus filmes foram exibidos e ou premiados em festivais como Mostra Internacional de Cinema de São Paulo, Filmfest Hamburg, Philadelphia Latino FilmFest, Frontera Sur (Chile), Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes, Festival Internacional de Cine de Viña del Mar, Uruguay Film Festival, FICIC Argentina, Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latino Americano de Havana, Festival de Cine de Caracas, Festival Internacional Olhar de Cinema Curitiba.
