SINOPSE
Daria escreveu seu primeiro manuscrito sobre se apaixonar por uma garota misteriosa chamada “abi” [azul]. As flores noturnas em seu jardim escondem os segredos de um país que transformou histórias de amor em cenas de crime rotineiras.
Daria has written her first manuscript about falling in love with a mysterious girl called ‘abi’ [blue]. The night flowers in her garden hide the secrets of a country that has turned love stories into routine crime scenes.

MARYAM TAFAKORY
Maryam Tafakory, nascida e criada no Irã, trabalha com cinema e performance. Suas obras já foram exibidas em mostras individuais no MoMA, no BOZAR e no Academy Museum, entre outros. Entre as exibições selecionadas estão a Tate Modern, a Quinzena dos Realizadores de Cannes, o Festival de Cinema de Nova York, o Festival de Cinema de Locarno e o Festival Internacional de Cinema de Toronto. Entre os prêmios recebidos estão o Gold Hugo no 58º Festival Internacional de Cinema de Chicago, o Tiger Short Award no 51º IFFR e o prêmio de Melhor Filme Experimental no 70º e no 71º MIFF.
Maryam Tafakory, born and raised in Iran, works with film and performance. Solo screenings of her work include MoMA, BOZAR, National Gallery of Art, and Academy Museum, among others. Selected screenings include Tate Modern, Cannes’ Directors Fortnight, New York Film Festival, Locarno Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival. Selected awards include, Gold Hugo at 58th Chicago Int’l Film Festival, Tiger Short Award at 51st IFFR, and Best Experimental Film at 70th and 71st MIFF. She was the 2024 winner of Film London Jarman Award. Her work has featured in The Guardian, Le Monde, and Les Cahiers du Cinéma.
