Seu primeiro curta como diretor, Entre las sombras arden mundos, participou de mais de trinta festivais, como FICUNAM, onde ganhou a Medalha Puma de Prata de melhor curta-metragem, o Clermont-Ferrand, onde recebeu o prêmio de melhor curta-metragem queer, e o Festival Internacional de Cinema de Cartagena (FICCI), onde foi escolhido como o curta-metragem ibero-americano indicado ao Oscar. Faz parte do coletivo Crisálida Cine, onde trabalhou em diversos filmes.

He sees cinema as a tool for transforming reality. He is interested in the hybridization of audiovisual language and in storytelling that is consistent with the needs of the Global South. His first short film as a director, *Entre las sombras arden mundos*, screened at more than thirty festivals, including FICUNAM, where it won the Silver Puma Medal for Best Short Film; Clermont-Ferrand, where it received the award for Best Queer Short Film; and the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI), where it was selected as the Ibero-American short film nominated for an Oscar. He is a member of the Crisálida Cine collective, where he has worked on several films.
