Leah Zhang trabalha com cinema, fotografia, som e instalação. Com formação em estudos cinematográficos, seu trabalho consiste em uma prática de pesquisa em torno da imagem e da mídia.  O trabalho de Leah geralmente envolve trabalho (no local) e ampla colaboração. Suas exposições em todo o mundo incluem a Framer Framed em Amsterdã, o Guangzhou Times Museum, o Museu de Arte Moderna de Xangai, o Three Shadows Photography Art Center em Pequim e a Make Room em Los Angeles. Ela é artista residente no De Ateliers, em Amsterdã, e no Le Fresnoy, em Tourcoing.

Leah Zhang works with film, photography, sound and installation. With a background in film studies, her work is a research practice around image and media. Leah’s work usually involves (onsite) labor and extensive collaboration. Leah’s exhibitions worldwide include Framer Framed Amsterdam, Guangzhou Times Museum, Modern Art Museum Shanghai, Three Shadows Photography Art Center Beijing, and Make Room Los Angeles. She is a resident artist at De Ateliers, Amsterdam, and Le Fresnoy, Tourcoing.
