SINOPSE
One night, a tiger escapes from Tiger Hill at the Jiamusi Zoo in northeastern China. That same night, Jun—a middle-aged former newspaper editor—storms out of his house after a heated argument with his wife. Restless and emotionally adrift, he wanders alone through the streets. A series of surreal and disorienting encounters leaves him unsettled, eventually leading him to the riverbank where he used to fish with his old friend, Wenyuan. But what he finds there is not a reunion, but a farewell. Meanwhile, the escaped tiger is also nearing its final destination.
