Hayk, uma criança retraída e distante, vive em uma fazenda com sua tia Narine. Os adolescentes locais zombam dele, considerando-o estranho e fraco. Narine cuida dele como se fosse seu próprio filho. Após uma longa estadia em outro país, a mãe de Hayk, Anahit, uma bela mulher de vinte e poucos anos, retorna à fazenda. Os habitantes locais condenam abertamente seu comportamento porque ela não segue as regras da sociedade. Narine, incapaz de perdoar Anahit pela vergonha causada por seu comportamento, decide se vingar. Seleção do Karlovy Vary 2025.
Hayk, withdrawn and aloof child, lives on a farm with his aunt Narine. Local teenagers mock him, deeming him strange and weak. Narine cares for him as if he were her own son. After a lengthy stay in another country, Hayk’s mother Anahit, a beautiful woman in her late twenties, returns to the farm. The locals openly condemn her behavior because she does not follow the rules of society. Narine, unable to forgive Anahit for the shame brought upon her with her behavior, decides to take revenge. Selected to Karlovy Vary Festival 2025.

MARIA RIGEL
Maria Rigel nasceu em 1993. Em 2015, formou-se na Universidade Estadual de Moscou e, em 2017, obteve um mestrado na VGIK na oficina de roteiro de Yu.N. Arabov. Em 2022, ela estudou no MSNC (oficina de Dmitry Mamuliya). Faz doutorado em Artes desde 2022. Seu primeiro longa-metragem, “The dream is gone”, sobre um tema antiguerra, participou do programa do Shanghai Film Festival 2021, Cottbus Film Festival 2023, Vittorio Veneto Film Festival 2022, Lucania Film Festival 2022. Desde março de 2022 mora na Armênia e trabalha como diretora e produtora na empresa de produção de filmes EMA.
Maria Rigel was born in 1993. In 2015 graduated from Moscow State University and in 2017 got a masters degree at VGIK in screenwriting workshop of Yu. N. Arabov. In 2022, she studied at the MSNC (workshop of Dmitry Mamuliya). Grand PhD in Arts since 2022. Her debut full-length film "The dream is gone" on an anti-war theme participated in the program of the Shanghai Film Festival 2021, Cottbus Film Festival 2023, Vittorio Veneto Film Festival 2022, Lucania Film Festival 2022. Since march 2022 she moved to Armenia and works as a director and producer in the EMA production film company.
