Clemente Castor ecebeu apoio do Fundo Nacional para a Cultura e as Artes (FONCA) para estudar na Sarajevo Film Academy, na Bósnia e Herzegovina. Estudou literatura latino-americana e participou do programa educacional SOMA. Seu longa-metragem de estreia, "Príncipe de Paz", recebeu o prêmio de Melhor Filme Mexicano no FICUNAM 2019 e teve sua estreia internacional no FID Marseille, onde recebeu uma menção especial na competição internacional e uma menção especial do Centro Nacional de Artes Plásticas (CNAP). Também foi apresentado no Lincoln Center em Nova York e esteve na competição oficial de festivais como o Viennale, o Festival Internacional de Cinema de Mar del Plata, Márgenes e Transcinema, entre outros. Dirigiu vários curtas-metragens, incluindo "Fantasma, Animal" (2020) e "Atados los años engullen la tierra" (2022), este último comissionado pelo FICUNAM. Ambas as obras estrearam no FIDMarseille e participaram de outros festivais de cinema nacionais e internacionais. Além disso, ele apresentou vídeos e instalações em alguns espaços independentes e museus de arte, como: CAP - Centre d'art de SaintFons em Lyon, Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, Tabakalera - Donosti, Biquini Wax EPS, Pequod Co Galería, Museo de la Ciudad de Querétaro, Museo de Arte de Zapopan, Baxter St. em NY, Queens L.A., SOMA, entre outros. Em 2019, o festival de cinema colombiano EUREKA realizou uma retrospectiva de seus curtas-metragens. Em 2025, estreou seu segundo longa-metragem intitulado FRÍO METAL na competição internacional do Festival Internacional de Cinema de Marselha (FIDMarseille), onde ganhou o prêmio Georges de Beauregard.
